Here is the correct way to play Zeppelin's "The Ocean" direct from the 
official tabulature book:

Guitar 1: Standard tuning

That is the main riff, it repeats in the intro a couple times and then:

After that, go back to the main riff, only adding palm muting on the 8 on 
the 6 string, plus some small ad lib variations on the 3rd time playing 
the chorus with some quick D-string slides. The tiny riff right before 
the vocals take over is this:

That does it for the whole song except for the solos, which I'm not going
